Hello friends! It's been a while, hasn't it? (The reason for my falling off the face of the earth this year is a discussion for another day, lol.)
The 2016 Bookish Bingo Challenge had an excellent start this year, and I was so thrilled with the massive number of you who showed interest in this silly little game I conjured up. With the introduction of the exciting new Mystery Missions, the challenge gained more popularity than I had ever expected. It was so exhilarating to have this fun little group of people to discuss books with.
I must admit that as the year passed, I almost completely neglected the challenge. It wasn't my plan to stop blogging this year, but it seems life had plans of its own. It's been a big year for me, and my life has been completely turned upside down. It's not an excuse, but an explanation. Because of this, I was unable to release the final two Mystery Missions as planned. So I am leaving their contents to your discretion. You can use them as free spaces or whatever your heart may desire. Consider it a free pass as a payment for my negligence.
I myself, only read 44 books this year. And completed a total of roughly 21 squares. While it may not seem like a whole lot, considering how busy I've been this year, I'm quite surprised I managed more than 15. How much did you get to cross off? As for the future of the challenge, as much as I love hosting this challenge, and the amount of joy, pride and new friends it has brought me, I am unsure of whether or not the challenge will be continuing on into 2017. At the moment, I'm working on a draft of the card, but I'm not sure if I will be publishing it. If enough of you are interested then I guess I will, but for now I'm undecided. Let me know what you think!
